María Angélica Camp*
Client Relationship Manager

Ms. Camp joined SOL Capital Management Company in April 2002. Ms. Camp is responsible for the daily interaction with domestic and international clients, facilitating requests, performing due diligence and striving to achieve excellence in client relationships.

Prior to joining SOL, Ms. Camp worked for HSM, the leading management information company in Latin America, as Marketing and Advertising Manager. During her tenure she helped the company become the market leader during its first year of operations in Argentina. Ms. Camp also has worked for McCann-Erickson and Ogilvy & Mather, where she began her career in advertising through an internship organized by Ogilvy & Mather and Fundación de Altos Estudios en Ciencias Comerciales.

Ms. Camp is a graduate of Fundación de Altos Estudios en Ciencias Comerciales de Buenos Aires (Argentina) and also holds an Advertising Designer degree from the Asociación Biblioteca de Mujeres de Buenos Aires.

Ms. Camp is a Registered Investment Adviser Representative.

 

Susan Kantor-Tupp
Client Relationship Manager

Ms Kantor-Tupp joined SOL Capital Management Company in December 2007 and is responsible for managing relationships for SOL’s US clients and for providing the most timely and personalized experience possible. Ms. Kantor-Tupp started her career as an economic consultant in the mergers and acquisitions field and then moved to the strategic marketing and international business development arena working first at Verizon and then at Qwest, two large US telecommunications companies. Immediately prior to joining SOL, Ms Kantor-Tupp was a rate analyst with a well-known Washington DC energy consulting firm.

Ms. Kantor-Tupp holds an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland with a dual concentration in marketing and finance. She earned her BA in sociology from Syracuse University in New York.

Ms. Kantor-Tupp is a Registered Investment Adviser Representative.

 

Sebastian Fuentes*
Client Relationship Manager

Mr. Fuentes joined SOL Capital Management in March 2011. He is responsible for interacting with Latin American clients and addresses their day-to-day service needs efficiently. Prior to joining SOL, Mr. Fuentes was a Marketing Communications Specialist at ProFunds Group, where he managed various projects ranging from shareholder letters to public presentations. During his time at ProFunds Group, he also was involved in editing different corporate communications.

Mr. Fuentes is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service, where he graduated with a degree in Latin American and European studies. He also spent an academic year studying Political and Economic Systems of Latin America at the Universidad de Salamanca in Salamanca, Spain, where he earned noteworthy and outstanding honors in coursework.

Mr. Fuentes is a Registered Investment Adviser Representative.

 

Marcus Odinec*
Vice President - Business Development/Client Relationship Manager

Mr. Odinec joined SOL Capital Management Company in March 2013.  Mr. Odinec is responsible for develping new client relationships as well as managing relationships with SOL’s domestic and international clients. He is focused on providing the best client experience possible.   

Prior to joining SOL, Mr. Odinec was a managing partner of Memorable Costa Rica, a tour operator specializing in Costa Rica.  He handled all aspects of business development and sales and helped transform the company into one of the most respected Costa Rican Destination Specialists in the industry.  

Mr. Odinec holds an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.  He earned his BS in Recreation, Management, and Tourism from Arizona State University.

Mr. Odinec is a Registered Investment Adviser Representative.

 

Ashley Staten
Client Reporting
Administrator

Ms. Staten joined SOL Capital Management in May 2010. She is responsible for SOL’s Client Reporting System and has developed, implemented and maintains the system ensuring accuracy and consistency. Additionally, Ms. Staten constantly improves the system through regular audits and reviews.

Previously, Ms. Staten was a Client Relations Assistant at SOL where she assisted in processing daily inquiries from both international and domestic clients. 

Prior to joining SOL and while pursuing her education, Ms. Staten worked for Farr, Miller & Washington, LLC. During this time, she performed a wide variety of tasks that were essential to the firm including: back office operations, client relations, office and data management, and accounting.

Ms. Staten holds a Bachelors of Science in Global Business and Public Policy from the University of Maryland, University College and an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration.
 

Sandra Amaguaña*
Client Relations Administrator

Ms. Amaguaña joined SOL Capital Management Company in April 2014. She is responsible for new account setup and supporting the client services team.

Prior to joining SOL, Ms. Amaguaña was a senior research analyst at Ipreo Holdings, LLC a financial services company that provided market intelligence and data/technology solutions to the capital markets community. Before that, she held roles in the Montgomery County government and was a customer service representative at BB&T bank (formerly Bank Atlantic) in Miami, FL.

Ms. Amaguaña earned a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park.



Gabriel Hernandez*
Client Relations Administrator

Mr. Hernandez joined SOL Capital Management in August 2015. He is responsible for new account setup and supporting the client services team.

Prior to joining SOL, Mr. Hernandez was a Graduate Assistant at the School of International Service at American University in Washington, DC.  In addition to conducting research on a wide range of international economic topics, he taught undergraduate courses. Before that, he was a violist with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra.

Mr. Hernandez is currently completing his M.A. in International Relations at American University and holds a BBA in Economics and Finance from the University of Texas at El Paso.

 

Gabriel Solis*
Client Relations Administrator

Mr. Solis joined SOL Capital Management in June 2017. He is responsible for new account setup and supporting the client services team.

Prior to joining SOL, Mr. Solis was a Senior Account Manager at Thomson Reuters, Mexico. He advised corporate clients by providing economic insights, analytics, and research to identify opportunities and enrich their market vision. Previously, from 2010 to 2015, Mr. Solis served as a Deputy Director of Business Development at Visa, Mexico, where he contributed to the design of business strategies for his banking clients which included several innovative products for e-commerce, airlines, and agro-business. From 2009 to 2010, Mr. Solis was an investment specialist at Banco Santander, Mexico, developing asset allocation solutions for clients, supporting a portfolio of over $150 million.

Mr. Solis holds an MBA from the IPADE Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, both located in Mexico City.
