Ernest Odinec
Mr. Odinec joined SOL Capital Management Company in June 2010 and heads the New York office with business development responsibilities.
Prior to joining SOL, Mr. Odinec was a Vice President at Neuberger Berman working in the alternative investments group where he concentrated on hedge fund evaluation, risk management, due diligence, and portfolio construction. He has helped develop investment strategies for a range of clients including a $50 billion defined benefit plan for a major public company. Prior to Neuberger Berman, Mr. Odinec was an investment analyst at Strategic Investment Group (SIG), an investment management company based in Arlington, VA. SIG specializes in customized global asset allocation outsourcing for institutional investors, high net worth individuals and family groups. At SIG, Mr. Odinec was a member of the hedge fund of funds team; his responsibilities included manager selection, due diligence and risk management.
Mr. Odinec earned a BA in Economics from the University of California at Berkeley, received an MSc in Economic History from the London School of Economics, and graduated Beta Gamma Sigma from Columbia Business School, earning an MBA with a concentration in Finance.
Mr. Odinec is a Registered Investment Adviser Representative.
