Information Governance Manager

Mr. Lewis joined SOL Capital Management in July 2013. In his position as Information Governance Manager, he is responsible for ensuring that Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles® are adhered to. Mr. Lewis is also responsible for administrating the company’s electronic records management system and software suite to ensure efficiency and best information management practices.

Prior to joining SOL, Mr. Lewis worked as a government contractor as a records analyst. He has worked in many different aspects of information management functioning as a content analyst for a private software firm, database manager for a private non-profit and a Recorded Media Intern at the National Baseball Hall of Fame Library and Museum. In October 2013 he was published in eForensics Magazine for an article entitled, “A Primer on Metadata Analysis.”

Mr. Lewis holds a BS in English Preprofessional from Ball State University where he was a Virginia Ball Center Scholar. He also holds a Master of Library Science degree from Indiana University with a Specialization in Special Collections. Mr. Lewis is a Certified Information Professional (CIP) from the Association of Intelligent Information Management (AIIM) and a Certified Records Manager from the Institute of Certified Records Managers.
