Ms. Sinmao joined SOL Capital Management Company in April 2019. She is responsible for researching new investment opportunities and evaluating current holdings across all asset classes.

For more than 10 years, Ms. Sinmao was a Portfolio Manager for active strategies at hedge funds invested across equities and fixed income securities, where she focused on financial sector issuers and other cyclicals. Prior to that, she published equity and fixed income investment research in sell-side roles at JP Morgan and Lehman Brothers. Most recently, Ms. Sinmao advised financial technology new ventures deploying frontier technology for real asset-backed investments, algorithmic portfolio and credit analysis, and online marketplaces.

Ms. Sinmao received a B.Sc. in Naval Architecture and in Marine Engineering from Webb Institute.  She also holds an M.Sc. in Ocean Engineering (Structural Mechanics) from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Georgetown University.
